Description: Once upon a time, there was a cabinet maker from the Lyon region who designed and made furniture revisiting the French styles. Frequently, he worked at his desk on its design well into the night. He used to gather his immediate family, apprentices and clients around his desk, gathering useful comments... On this working desk, one imagines many furniture first draft designs, reference books and trade tools. This was more than a century ago. The cabinet maker was Joseph Grange with whom the Grange saga "Meubles de famille" started.
